My face twitches a lot, and it’s not because I am always angry/annoyed/excited — it is just one of those things which you don’t exactly know why or when or how it happened. I have been diagnosed with hemifacial spasm and even though it is somewhat of a pain (makes me self-conscious, causes me headaches), I am just thankful that it is not life threatening.
I like films, pop culture, games and books. I like chocolates, cakes, ice cream, and complaining about how big my belly is getting. I also like putting exclamation marks! in the middle of sentences. I like italicizing and boldening words. I also like making up words that spell check does not approve of… like the word “boldening”.
I am writing here because I don’t know what I am doing most of the time. I am still trying to find my passion. I am hoping that doing this (blogging) will help me in my never ending quest for that thing called self-discovery. Wouldn’t it be grand, discovering myself?
Fingers crossed. :)
Discovering oneself is indeed grand. It’s an everyday grandness, mind you. My blog is all about it and more and so here I am crossing my fingers for you. :)
Hemifacial spasm! Thanks for filling me in. I know a few people who have the same condition, I’ve always been secretly interested, but too scared!!! to ask them about it.
Anyway, this is a quick drop by. Have scanned the page and liked the titles I’ve seen thus far. Will be digging further the next time I visit…very soon!
See ya around, beauty! :)†

Hello Gen. Thank you for visiting my blog. I checked out your posts and enjoyed reading them. “Congratulations” for going out (Gen’s Day Out)! “Everyday is a day to better ourselves!” (…on Unfinished) and “We’ll get by. I’ve been there. It’s amazing how life helps us survive!” (…on When Things Get Awry). Cheers to life Gen!

Hi again Gen, after awhile, I visited your ‘about’ page again and noticed that you mentioned your quest for your passion. Have you found it? What steps are you taking to find it? I hope you don’t mind my asking.

I haven’t found it yet and I don’t think I am taking any action in finding it. I do know what I like, but real passion? I am not yet there. I am taking it a day at a time. Some people might find that lackadaisical, but I am content and happy with the way things are. For me, that’s enough. :)

I found myself on the mammoth blogroll on BlogHer and thought I’d explore those right near me on the list. :) So, hello!

First thing I noticed is that your blog looks cool with the header. I just read your ‘about’ and now I understand what the title means.
I guess that the thing we have I common is that I always tell myself not to eat alot… after eating alot. lol.
good day!
